The 150 kW battery storage with an installed energy of 151 kWh consists of a two-way AC / DC converter VONSCH GSE 400/160 and a battery rack KOKAM 151.6 kWh. The battery rack contains a BPU (Battery Protection Unit), with protective and control elements – BMS (Battery Management System) and it is also equipped with a technological fire extinguisher with FirePro fire extinguisher. Energy flow and battery storage management is provided by a control system with its own EMS (Energy Management System).
ENERGODATA, a major provider of comprehensive SW and HW solutions for providers of ancillary grid services in Slovakia in a consortium with battery manufacturer LECLANCHE SA Switzerland and in production cooperation with TESLA Liptovský Hrádok, Slovakia supplies a battery energy storage system based on Li-ion NMC batteries with an output of 5.2 MW and an installed capacity of 2.9 MWh. It is currently the largest battery energy storage project in Central Europe. The EPC contractor TESLA Blue Planet performs project management on the supplier’s side.
