Description of technology operation:

Reduction of reserved capacity from the distribution company and minimization of daily electricity purchase from the grid resulting to overall savings on electricity bills.

Scope of implementation:

The aim of the project is self-power generation for own consumtion of electricity, by the industrial manufacturing  company TESLA Liptovský Hrádok.  Electricity for daily consumption is produced from the sun. PV installation was upgraded by battery energy storage system of 150 kW / 151.6 kWh used to store excess generated electricity for later use. The electricity accumulated this way is used scheduled way, primary in peak loads hours, to prevent the lowered reserved capacity from being exceeded.

The entire installation is integrated with build-in fully automatized SW management, that manages all operating modes of self- generation, self- consumption, storage and controlls unallowed overflows to the grid.
